Simple dinner on Saturday night at Canto Kitchen to celebrate Mummy's birthday. Food's not bad though :)

其实在每个人的心中，都应该有“自乐”的心情。
现在的都市人在工作上多多少少都会面对压力，在这时候，就应该对自己说些勉励的话，叫自己“放轻松”、“尽力就好”、“做不完又不会要了你的命”、“别紧张”、等。

说得容易做的难，哈哈。
橡皮筋拉的太长，是会断的。而每个人的“韧度”都不同。

但还是要试试，因为人生短短，要快乐点 ;)

当然，自乐并不代表没要求。。。在努力的同时，不要对自己过于苛刻。Don't be too hard on yourself.

平衡就好。

Well, I spotted this guy wearing this PE shirt last saturday... (spent some time to 偷拍) it's very rare, cos' ZHSS has changed its uniform design long long time ago... and hey, his 'limited edition' is pretty new loh, don't look worn out... tsk tsk...

Firstly, 五月天 concert is coming in 1 week time! yay~~~

And the second one is the trend of the cameras industry; big-time players, like Canon, Panasonic, Fujifilm, seemed to notice the lack in compact cams: picture quality.
It's interesting to observe the trend; for the past few years, compact cam's megapixels just kept increasing. From as early as 2007, it's 5MP, then it goes 8MP, 10MP, 12MP! And now they go back to 10MP, attempting to improve the picture quality (yep, more megapixels doesn't mean better pictures, long story...) So I quite excited lah, imagine taking good quality photos (nice colours, low noise, sharp pics) using compact cam, hehehe :)

Okay, this entry must be boring for you peeps, haha...

Okay, due to weak economy this year... there seemed to have none fireworks festival (yea, Government decided to be costs-saving?...) :(

Arh~ so that means last night was my only chance of shooting fireworks... but unfortunately, the buildings blocked my view entirely! And that means I din get to any fireworks this year :(

Oh well, it's all right... I do get some night shots in the end... and it's quite 'adventurous', wahaha... a pity I din get up to the top part, the view's much splendid, but lacked guts and I am accountable to... people, hahaha. Maybe lah, should try it next time... :P

Finally bought a second hand Canon 50mm f1.8 last Sunday.
Why it? Cos':
- I want bokeh badly
- Something compact
- But most importantly, something CHEAP, haha. Got it for $80, it's the cheapest you can find among all lens.

My 2nd 'official' kite flying (yea, i.e. I went specially to a field, just to fly kite, haha). Not so bad, cos' my kite is a fish design (special!!!)... and fish swims well in water, not in the sky you know, haha... must compliment, as it managed to 'swim' sustainably, very little downtime (in fact, no down time? Only time was when there's not a trace of wind), say 10%? Well, it did not fly as high as the rest, but comparing to my lst 'official', it's much much better. :)
And thanks Ivan for repairing my kite the previous time, keke.

Oh, it's Kiwi's first official leh~ *claps* fun anot? It's not a question actually... cos' you can say only say yes! hahaha

And we saw a gigantic octopus kite. When i say gigantic.... it's ReaLLy giGanTic! Got lights installed on it somemore... cool... what's more, it flew real high... mine was pale in comparison x3, keke.

It's fun, and all senses appeal to the new things we would experience in the new places.

Olympus Pen E-P1 Preview

This camera is a beauty:
It's the first Micro Four Thirds camera from Olympus. In short, it is a compact digital SLR. Can you imagine?! A compact-like dSLR!!! :) It will be so convenient for me to bring it around!

And I really like its retro design! It's actually following the design of its old Olympus Pen series' (yea, the Olympus Pen series, which is a half-frame film camera, was very popular back in the 50's-mid 80's), hence its name "Pen E-P1".

Redang here we come!
Some info, we took 5 Star coach (SGD 90 per pax, two way), the journey is about 10 hrs, argh... but I think it's considered a nice coach le, haha.

Early in the morning, we reached Merang jetty. This is the resort bus that takes us to another temporary jetty, from which we will board the boat:

The boat ride is very 刺激，it's like sitting roller coaster, wahaha. Takes about 30min, and we reach Redang :)
Super happy, and I love the waters! Look at the clarity manz...:

Well, below is Laguna Resort, looks good right? But sorry loh, this is not our resort, hahaha...

For info, for 3D2N, and for 4 persons = RM 1440 (inclusive of all meals and 3 snorkelling trips, but exclude snorkelling equipment charges).

Well, facilities and food wise, Redang Reef Resort is no where compared to Laguna Resort. But still, I like Reef Resort's location, especially it's backyard! It's really windy at night. Enjoying the sea breeze, chit-chat and chill out, 很爽～:

Interesting for me, cos' now I know how X-Men came about. Now I can better appreciate the X-Men comics. Wolverine/ Hugh Jackman very cool, very fit.

Well, a pretty philosophical and sad movie... the kind of movie that makes you think. The movie can be better if not for the lousy ending (watch Burn After Reading before? yah, that kind of damn lousy ending, or perhaps I just can't appreciate this kind of artistic ending :P) I let out a loud 'What!' when it ended, I bet people sitting around me heard it, haha...

Basically, it reveals ALL the wrong things a couple can do to hurt each other... yea, that's sad right? So the only comforting thing about the film is that we learnt not to do all the things the Wheelers did. Keke.

There is much more message from the movie. But well, there is no exciting climax, so if you're expecting that, and a faster pace of story, then this may not be your type of show :P

I think everyone knows it... 28 Mar 09 8.30pm to 9.30pm is the Earth Hour. Well, I missed the 'lights out' at 8.30pm, hahaha...
But I did catch the 'lights on'! Eh, kinda disappointing, cos' there wasn't much difference lah... Took a few snaps then keep my cam le, keke.

I guess the importance of this event is not just the one hour... but to make us realise that we need to be aware of conserving energy in our everyday life... Save the Earth to save ourselves right? ;)

一部好片。有时会觉得有点黑色幽默。死亡与入殓师。这两个课题，是很严肃的。但电影却即幽默又赚人热泪，因为死亡，是活着的人痛苦吧。。。留下的是回忆与思念。这就是人生咯。看到电影里的阿么，就让我想起自己的阿么。。。

哦，还有，音乐很好听，和故事搭配得很好。。。

Well, I enjoyed the movie, a very nice one, haha. It shows every possible situation that can happen in a relationship... In fact, I think this film has its substance, haha.

Ooh, Lumix is coming up with something new again... the DMC-TS1!

What it boosts is that it is "The World’s First Waterproof, Shockproof, Dustproof Camera AVCHD Lite Motion Image Recording" --- from http://www.dpreview.com/ .

Not bad if you want a compact cam that you can carry round the clock 24hours, and rough use (hmm, like u tend to drop stuff, knock against the wall, etc).

But I still tend to be more picky at IQ (image quality). The sensor is the typical small one (1/2.33" CCD), and the cam is at 12 mega pixels... small sensor, high mega pix... noise level (graininess of the image) will tend to be high I guess?... and this is so especially at night. Nevertheless, it claims that with the Venus Engine HD, noise is reduced... but it's a matter of the extent of reduction... and your personal expectations~

Oh, cam starts up quickly in 1.3 seconds, this is useful if you're walking along the streets, spotted something suddenly and you wanna shoot it.

Nevertheless, you gota try and test on the real thing to really know if it suits you. ;)

Gonna blog a bit before I switch on my laptop to do some work, argh...

度过了第一项 peak job 后，我深深体会到三点：
1. 人是需要吃晚餐的。
2. 人是需要睡眠的。
3. 人是需要适当的娱乐的。

不然。。。很快“漏风”。真的。哈哈。

你一定看过卡通或漫画吧。那种主角张开眼睛、“卡通式”地瞄准一样东西，除了那件东东，其余都黑黑的，看不到。我就像现在的他，眼前只看到 Fri evening, Sat, Sun and CNY! 是一种自我安慰，呵呵。

匆匆飞逝，而我想停住时间（其实大家都想吧）。

2008，前半年的愉快学生生活，后半年的成人世界（虽说我已22岁了，呵呵）。人生历练多了些些，更能体恤爸、妈工作的辛苦、伟大、观点。

2009 就是明天！天啊~~~~~。。。不说我想你也能猜出我在感叹什么啦。。。“怎么时间过得这么快！” 时间不是子弹快车，它像是一本书，跳过许多章节（skip chapters)。

烦恼是一天，不烦也过一天。做人要不要想太多？但这定义是自己限定的，很难、很难。。。

孔子说过“饮食男女”。不是指爱吃喝的男人女人。他是在说，人一生顾虑的有两件事; 一，是生活起居，是否三餐能温饱，有没有落脚的地方、等，这是所谓“饮食”；二，是儿女私情、家庭，是否能遇到另一半，然后结婚、开枝散叶， happily ever after，这是所谓“男女”。

然后轮到 Ching Ching 说，人生崇尚目标是快乐。要快乐，要有三样“最爱”：

一，最爱的人。哦，对不起，应该加个“们”，“最爱的人们”才对。这“爱人”嘛，也包含了亲人。亲情、爱情、友情！你不觉得，为别人而付出、奋斗，比为自己的享受而奋斗，更来得有意义和快乐吗？

二，最爱的事业。人要实际，“饮食”是必须，所以要工作（废话，那当然啦。。。）一天一半的时间都在那儿，所以能把它变成最爱，是很幸福的。。。但未必大家都这么走运。所以要摸索。。。

三，最爱的嗜好。它让你的生活精彩，你不会感到空虚无聊。

当然，若兴趣=嗜好=事业=快乐！！！那真好，对不对? 哈哈

这样生命很美满咧。。。那该多爽。。。

Watched 《海角七号》 and 《叶问》 at one go last night, till 2am sia. haha.

《海角七号》music is nice, but feels the plot can be done better.

《叶问》 is a good kungfu show! Enjoyed it sia. 让我也想从新习武，哈哈哈。。。功夫片就是该这样，真真实实的打！不用“飞”，也很好看的。。。

所以，最喜爱的武术片是《霍元甲》和《叶问》！
