My 2nd 'official' kite flying (yea, i.e. I went specially to a field, just to fly kite, haha). Not so bad, cos' my kite is a fish design (special!!!)... and fish swims well in water, not in the sky you know, haha... must compliment, as it managed to 'swim' sustainably, very little downtime (in fact, no down time? Only time was when there's not a trace of wind), say 10%? Well, it did not fly as high as the rest, but comparing to my lst 'official', it's much much better. :)
And thanks Ivan for repairing my kite the previous time, keke.

Oh, it's Kiwi's first official leh~ *claps* fun anot? It's not a question actually... cos' you can say only say yes! hahaha

And we saw a gigantic octopus kite. When i say gigantic.... it's ReaLLy giGanTic! Got lights installed on it somemore... cool... what's more, it flew real high... mine was pale in comparison x3, keke.

Haven't been shooting for very long, getting rusty, argh... I need: 1. wider aperture (nice bokeh!) like f2.8, f1.4, and 2) compact lens... 50mm f1.8? 30mm f1.4? 20mm? 28mm?
But first thing first, get my butt moving and start shooting, haha.

And I haven't been exercising... guess I still prefer 打打杀杀，hahaha. Maybe I should start to scout for lessons... kick-boxing ah, pilates ah, hot yoga ah or back to wushu? HmmMm... tsk tsk...

Will you miss home?

It seems like a trend, or an "in-thing" to travel, especially once you start work...

A way to relax and get away from the work and stress; to a totally new place...

But while in the foreign land,

do you ever miss home?

Do you ever think of your loved ones back home?

Well, I don't know for you,

but I do.



It's fun, and all senses appeal to the new things we would experience in the new places.

"How I wish the holiday wouldn't end!"

I would,

but it would mean to spend them with my loved ones,

for home is my only constant longing place.

Tangible, and intangible.


p.s.: Ah... I am such a “宅女”in this sense, wahaha~

虽然只剩一周的假期，有点迟了，但还是决定在接下来的六天过得健康一点，来个早点睡、早点起的生活！

Olympus Pen E-P1 Preview

This camera is a beauty:
It's the first Micro Four Thirds camera from Olympus. In short, it is a compact digital SLR. Can you imagine?! A compact-like dSLR!!! :) It will be so convenient for me to bring it around!

And I really like its retro design! It's actually following the design of its old Olympus Pen series' (yea, the Olympus Pen series, which is a half-frame film camera, was very popular back in the 50's-mid 80's), hence its name "Pen E-P1".

Redang 08062009 - 11062009

Redang here we come!
Some info, we took 5 Star coach (SGD 90 per pax, two way), the journey is about 10 hrs, argh... but I think it's considered a nice coach le, haha.



Early in the morning, we reached Merang jetty. This is the resort bus that takes us to another temporary jetty, from which we will board the boat:

The boat ride is very 刺激，it's like sitting roller coaster, wahaha. Takes about 30min, and we reach Redang :)
Super happy, and I love the waters! Look at the clarity manz...:


Well, below is Laguna Resort, looks good right? But sorry loh, this is not our resort, hahaha...

Well, facilities and food wise, Redang Reef Resort is no where compared to Laguna Resort. But still, I like Reef Resort's location, especially it's backyard! It's really windy at night. Enjoying the sea breeze, chit-chat and chill out, 很爽～:






Our room. Surprisingly they gave us one extra bed. Look at where JR and PY were sitting? That is our '垃圾床'. Hahaha.

Well, a nice place to just slack and relax. Nice experience for me, as this was my first time snorkelling... even got 'kissed' by a fish on my arm, keke. And look at the waters! Now I know why when we colour, we colour the sea blue... Worth going at least once... till then~ :)
